Your application will be reviewed and answered within a week via email.
In the Residency Fee, there is included access to the Workshops & Facilities in the Centre, in consultation with a team member and based on individual skills. Artists are also provided with an Accommodation, a private bedroom in one of the Artists’ houses. Upon arrival, each Artist gets a towel and bed linen. In the houses, we provide internet connection, toilet paper, cleaning products for housecleaning and washing machine soap. Artists have access to bicycles during their stay.
On arrival, we provide a pick up from Egilsstaðir Airport but this is limited to the 1st and 2nd days of the month. Other expenses, for transport, meals, and art supplies are the responsibility of each participant. You can find more information about transport in General Information.
A deposit of 25.000 ISK for each month should be paid within 7 days of receiving the invitation to the program. The confirmation fee is the same for both Shared and Private Studio. The reservation of your residency will only be confirmed after this payment has been received. Confirmation fee will be subtracted from the total of the Residency Fee. Please note that Confirmation Fee is non–refundable.
The Residency fee should be paid no less than 12 weeks before your arrival and you will receive an invoice 2 weeks in advance. The Confirmation fee which has already been paid will be subtracted from the Total of the Residency Fee.
Please be mindful and note that cancellation any later than twelve weeks before your booked residency starts is very inconvenient for us. If any changes occur with your plans we would be very grateful if you let us know as soon as possible.
