Uppbyggingarsjóður Austurlands Grant Awarding Ceremony 2018

On Monday, February 12th we had the honour to host Uppbyggingarsjóður Austurlands Grant Awarding Ceremony in here at the Fish Factory Creative Centre. Uppbyggingarsjóður Austurlands hands out cultural and innovation grants yearly for individuals and projects in East Iceland. We were fortunate to receive two of these grants this year; one for the finalization of the Studio Silo and the other for reconstruction of the Factory. We feel very grateful!
The Ceremony was beautiful and it filled our concert hall with inventive and cultural people from all around East Iceland. We had a nice time with old friends and new acquaintances. Also, we enjoyed two extraordinary musical performances by young local musicians Anya Shaddock and punk band Sárasótt.
